BIOGRAPHY
Ximena Herrera graduated from Televisa’s Center for Artistic Education (CEA). In Boston, she studied Marketing which she combined with some acting. Her first opportunity to work on television was in 2004 playing the role of Malka in the soap opera Corazones al limit . Since then she has participated in plays in the United States and in numerous soap operas and series such as El pantera (2009) and Infames (2012). In 2013 she participated in the telenovela El Señor de los Cielos , for which she was nominated, along with Rafael Amaya, in the category of the perfect couple at the Tu Mundo awards, in addition to receiving another nomination as the favorite protagonist. In 2018 she left the series to dedicate herself to other projects. In 2021 she stars in the police drama and thriller telenovela produced for Telemundo Busca a Frida , and plays the leading role of Dr. Tamara in Amalgama , the new film by Carlos Cuarón.
